| Job Description: |
- Planning and implementing procurement strategy, ensuring targets are met
- Working with co-managers and buyers to source right products
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
- Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
- Appraise vendors manufacturing ability through on-site visits and measurements
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Overseeing inventory storage, handling and distribution
- Managing and motivating a team of supply chain staff
- Improving the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
- Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends in the sector.
