Job Description:

Protégé Global is seeking a talented and energetic Experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our growing Product Development team in our Karachi office. The Experienced Full Stack Software Developerat Protégé Global will be involved in significant development projects. We are seeking candidates thathave strong development experience and who are passionate about the latest industry trends andinnovations occurring in web based products.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Own significant portions of system functionality; work with product management to define what needs to be done; define an engineering plan to meet product goals; execute on the plan

2. Work with Engineering Management and required teams to develop primarily .NET products

3. Lead projects focusing on the core design of the software and guiding team

4. Design, develop, and test software components using mainly .NET technologies and frameworks

5. Collaborate with other team members to incorporate best practices and innovations into our products

6. Leverage team development standards, patterns and design principles in daily activities

7. Assist team during all the phases of the product life cycle

8. Collaborate closely and enthusiastically with Product Owners, Quality Assurance, and User Experience during discovery, design, test, and development in a Scrum/Agile environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years’ of software development experience. 2. Full stack Web Application development using .NET, Visual Studio. C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript,jQuery, web services, HTML, CSS. 3. In-depth knowledge of OO principles and design patterns.4. Extensive experience building multi-tiered systems with Web facing components that are mission critical, fault tolerant, monitored & have high availability with horizontal scaling.5. Deep knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL. 6. Exposure to unit testing.7. Source Code Control, SVN / GIT experience with a good handle on branch & merge strategies.8. Experience with modularization and dependency management.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 3 years MySQL, PL/SQL and Oracle development experience 2. 3 years as an active Scrum team member and strong knowledge and experience with Scrum.Having acted as a scrum master is a strong plus 3. Experience with AJAX and LINQ4. Experience with server side and client side MVC frameworks such as Angular, KnockOutJS5. 2 years developing automated unit / integration / functional tests. BDD experience is a strong plus6. 2 years developing RESTful APIs. A strong knowledge of Micro services architecture is a plus7. Ability to quickly debug and diagnose production issues and get down to root causes
