Job Objective

Public Relations Officer/Executive is responsible for coordination with agencies, vendors and departments for preparation & release of advertisements, publications, branding, events, sponsorships, procurement, payments, record management, website & social media updates & monitoring, and feedback management.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations:

• Coordination with PR & social media agencies. Provide data/ information required by the PR agency for implementing monthly PR strategy.


• Collection of client profiles from different branches for dissemination to the media for success stories, testimonials etc.


• Responding to media queries and maintaining good working relations with them.


• Coordinating with other departments to gather information for updating KMBL website and internal publications.


• Monitoring the Social Media Pages of the Bank and providing appropriate feedback / responses.


• Ensuring periodic website updates, monitoring website feedbacks, forwarding them to the relevant departments and designing of e-newsletter.

Branding, Designing & Merchandising:

• Coordinating the designing & production of newsletter, Annual Report, table & wall calendars, buntings, greeting cards, souvenirs, KMBL paper bags, publicity brochures, handouts, leaflets etc.


• Managing & coordinating with vendors for shields, back drops, Banners and standees. Ensure delivery to the venue, installation and dismantling.


• Coordination with ad agency for designing & release of corporate ads, theme ads and department ads.

Events:

• Manage and monitor designing, branding and merchandizing requirements for Khushhalibank’s Anniversary celebrations and other sponsored events.


• Sending merchandizing material to regions for local regional sponsored events.

Advertisements:

• Prepare drafts, provide costs, facilitate approvals and proof read before all publications (advertisements, corporate ads, theme ads, tender notices, and financial statements).


• Coordination with departments & agency for effective and timely release of advertisements.

Reports, Approvals & Record Keeping:

• Preparing monthly budget utilization report as per allocated budget vs. actual expenditures.


• Preparation & verification of approval sheets for each task involving budget.


• Maintain a knowledge database containing all past & present info about the bank in the form of pictures, videos, success stories, publications,


• Record keeping and filing of documents.


• Facilitate department audits.


• Coordinating with Finance department for payment processing.


• Monthly reporting.


• Any additional relevant tasks assigned by Manager PR & Media

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes

Education

• Preferably 16 years of education (Business / Management / Mass Communication) from an HEC recognized / overseas University.

Skills

• Organized, pro-active approach to work & good PR skills.


• Strong PC skills including word, excel, social media management.


• Willing to travel across KMBL network.


• Exhibits and upholds KMBL’s values and social performance objectives.

Duration and Nature of Previous Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of PR / Media management / Corporate Communication / Social Media Management related experience.  Internship experience is also applicable and working in a banking environment a plus but not mandatory.
