Position Overview
EDI Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting all the EDI needs within the company
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions that improve business functions for the company and customers
- Work as a Liaison between stakeholders and product development team
- Take product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by the assigned business area
- Document/Design business requirements and functional specifications
- Build / Contribute to the construction and delivery of IT roadmaps for the assigned business/functional area
- Create and maintain constructive, positive partnerships between E-Commerce system and assigned business/functional areas
- Fully understand the business processes
- Provide application and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support
- Manage and resolve support issues and escalations as assigned
- Ensure root causes are identified and appropriately communicated and documented
Required Skills
- 5+ years required of experience in following areas:
- Business systems analysis
- Data analysis
- System’s functional analysis
- X12 EDI Transaction Sets commonly used for B2B eCommerce and Supply Chain
- Business case development
- System Administration
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, users, systems, and deadlines
- Team player
- Proactive problem solver
- Balsamiq or similar tool for prototypes
- Backend systems like Microsoft CRM, AX and SAP
- Understanding of Sales, Supply chain and Finance side of the business
