| Job Description: |
Position Overview
The responsible for adhering to defined standards and practices, and implementing the Quality Assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards, test scripts and procedures
- Create, set up, and maintain regression scripts
- Conduct compatibility tests with all systems
- Work with utility programs to test, track, and verify defects in software programs
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned applications, functional areas and projects
- Coordinate testing initiatives for releases with the team to ensure all functional areas are thoroughly tested according to Quality Assurance processes.
- Develop, publish, and implement test plans (including test scripts, test conditions, and test data)
- Conducts compatibility tests with all systems.
- Ensures all systems and code have regression scripts and are implemented in automated testing.
- Monitor program release cycles and monitors implementation to prevent impact or errors to the production operating environment
- Troubleshoot new builds and post production issues
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
- Verify complete and correct implementations are installed in the environments after code push
Required Skills
- Minimum 5+ years required of experience with
- Quality Testing Practices
- Agile/SCRUM
- One or more of Marathon, RIATest, and Selenium automated testing tools
- Cruise Control
- Subversion
Optional Skills
- Candidate with prior experience in any of the below mentioned areas/applications would be preferred-
- MS Dynamics CRM
- MS Dynamics AX
- E-Commerce solution
