| Job Description: |
SQA Engineer (preferably with Accounting/Financial Application Testing Experience)
Responsibilities
- Work with software developers, business analysts and support throughout product lifecycle to ensure product quality
- Must be a good collaborator who is detail-oriented, pro-active, and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Develop and implement test plans/test cases
- Experience working in a production support environment
- Know the process of how to handle a Production incident request
- Experience in performing Functional, Regression, Smoke,UAT and performance testing
- Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
- Candidates having experience using functional test automation tools like Selenium will be preferred.
- Java, JSP, JavaScript, Servlets and HTML programing experience is a plus
- Experience with testing frameworks will be plus such as JUnit
Required Skills:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science
- 1-4 years working experience in Quality Assurance
- Hands on experience with Relational DBs
- Experience with testing Java based products
- Understanding of the entire software product lifecycle: Development, QA and Release management
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good to have:
- Prior experience with testing ERP, CRM applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of any versioning systems
- Hands on experience with Java application server Tomcat, Jboss is a definite plus.
