| Job Description: |
Cinnova is seeking a DevOps Engineer, to lead creation & maintenance of processes, tools, and environments used by the Development teams. Ideal Candidate must have an experience in scalable cloud infrastructure setup, build automation and will be responsible for the implementation, and management of CI/CD platforms.
Job Specifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Sciences from an accredited institute.
- 3+ years of DevOps, and/or System Administration experience.
- Expertise in Amazon (AWS) cloud services setup & administration (EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, VPC, EBS, EFS, ELB, ACM, CloudWatch) etc.
- Automation experience with tools such as: Puppet, Chef, Ansible and Docker preferred.
- Strong scripting skills i.e. Powershell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
- Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure.
- Prior success in automating a real-world production environment.
- Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments.
- Understanding and experience with code deployment (tagging).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internally and externally with clients.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with any monitoring tools like Nagios, Incinga, SiteScope, etc.
- Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce).
- Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity.
- Experience with automated testing tools (ie. Selenium, JMeter).
- Understanding and experience with code deployment (tagging).
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST).
