We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom coding. You will be responsible for building and optimizing WordPress sites and custom websites that are both user-friendly and functional, delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.

1. WordPress Website Development

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.

• Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet specific business needs.

• Ensure the overall performance, quality, and responsiveness of WordPress websites across various devices and browsers.

2. Website Optimization

• Optimize websites for speed and performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth functionality.

• Perform SEO optimization tasks, including improving page speed, metadata, and schema markup.

• Implement best practices in web development to ensure that websites are mobile-friendly and secure.

3. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with the design team to ensure that website designs are translated into functional, responsive websites.

• Collaborate with project managers to deliver projects on time and according to specifications.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites, including updates and troubleshooting.

4. Custom Plugin and Theme Development

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins that enhance site functionality.

• Customize and extend WordPress themes, including building custom templates and layouts to match business needs.

5. Bug Fixes and Issue Resolution

• Identify and resolve bugs, errors, and performance issues on websites.

• Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure websites are fully functional and free of technical issues.

6. Security & Backup

• Implement robust security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.

• Set up regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect websites from data loss.

7. Stay Updated with Trends

• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments, including new features, tools, and best practices.

• Continuously learn and experiment with new technologies to enhance site performance and user experience.

Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, custom theme building, themes, plugins, and custom post types.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Familiarity with MySQL database and experience with managing database-driven applications.

• Understanding of WordPress REST API, custom API integration, and theme customization.

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.

• Solid understanding of website security protocols and best practices.

Responsive Design: Strong experience with creating responsive, mobile-friendly websites.

SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with basic SEO best practices for WordPress sites.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions quickly and efficiently.
