Pre-Costing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for furniture projects based on design drawings, BOQs, and client requirements.

• Analyze material, labor, overhead, and logistics costs before project approval.

• Coordinate with the design and procurement teams for accurate cost projections.

• Assist management in pricing strategies, proposals, and tenders.

Post-Costing:

• Evaluate actual project costs after completion to identify variances.

• Compare estimated vs. actual costs and recommend cost optimization measures.

• Maintain costing records and update product pricing sheets periodically.

• Work with finance and production teams to improve accuracy and profitability tracking.

General Duties:

• Develop and maintain cost databases for wood, polish, hardware, upholstery, and accessories.

• Assess vendor quotations and negotiate cost-effective options.

• Support budgeting and profitability analysis for upcoming furniture projects.

• Prepare costing reports and present findings to management.
